New wheel

I have had two essays to finish for tomorrow but instead I decided to paint two nail wheels... going to regret that later! I have had a really good weekend though (avoiding all the work I should of been doing!). Me and Danny went to Nando's on Friday I had never been before so I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't like it because I'm such a picky eater, not that you'd know that from seeing me! Anyway..it was SO nice! We also had the chicken wing roulette too which was hilarious. We both got the extra spicy wings last. Yesterday we went to see Mirror Mirror. It was alright I was expecting it to be a lot better. I think its because we went to see 21 Jump Street last time and that was so funny, definitely go see that if you haven't already! I don't usually laugh out loud much during films but this one I couldn't stop! ANYWAY here is my first new nail wheel. I painted two to use as a menus for the next Closet Clear-out I kept the designs really simple but I don't think many people would want crazy designs.

Dolly Nails @ the Closet Clear-out

I had a really great day at the closet clear-out yesterday. This time I was actually doing nails instead of just selling them. It was really fun. I forgot to take pictures of some of the nails I done but hopefully I'll be able to get them during the week.

 I'll hopefully be doing it again at the next one. I think its on the 31st of march. Next time I'm going to make time to have a look around. Loads of girls were telling me about all the bargains they had picked up and I was a bit jel! If you're around Dublin at the end of the month definitely go and have a look ;) I would of loved to have had time to take some street style photos there. I spent most of my time looking at what everyone was wearing! 

Busy weekend but overall fun. I made a bitta money and was talking to loads of lovely people and got to meet up with an old friend which was really nice. What did everyone else to this weekend! New Nail Menu

I had to pick some designs for my menu at the closet clear-out in March (sorry for going on about it).  Let me know what you think. What would you get done?

So depressed at the amount of work I have to do for Monday... but its the last project of the year. On holidays at the start of May YES! x x

Love is in the air

I did this wheel a while ago so if you like my facebook page you've probably seen it already. It took me ages to think of different designs so some of them are a bit weird. What are you all up to on Valentines day? I have no idea yet. I think we're going for dinner not really sure what else there is to do!

Its been a pretty good week. I was wrecked after coming back from London and we just started a new project in college which I'm finding really hard to get into. On Thursday some people with special needs came into college and we had to teach them how to do vampire makeup. They are making a film in their school. It was a really nice experience and the girl I was teaching was so excited. I think they are coming back for the next 3 weeks. Also Sinéad from film, fashion & pop culture wrote the nicest post about me! It has made my week. You can read it HERE. This weekend I will be research for my college project and finishing my nail menu for the Closet Clear-out. I will be doing nails at their next event. I'm really excited but nervous. This week

I've been so busy this week that why I haven't been posting as often! I've been really busy during my elective. I helped out my model Katie with her shoot on Wednesday. She was doing a Sixties themed shoot. I find sixties makeup really hard but I think it turned out cool. I had to give her model a beehive and I had to use mannequin padding to puff up the hair! haha. Then on Thursday I had my own shoot. I done quite simple makeup and shot the photos in black and white. I really like taking photos in the studio its really fun! Then after Thursday I had to get everything ready for the Closet Clear-out on Saturday. It was a really fun day! I am going to try to do more events like that!

Unfortunately this week is going to be as busy! I have my final assessment for my elective this week and then I'm going to London on the weekend to the IMATS. SO excited!

The Closet Clear-out

I'm just trying to get everything ready for the Closet Clear-out tomorrow. I am selling clothes and NAILS! I have loads of nice clothes to sell including some stuff from topshop and my levi shorts(that was a tough one!) All the clothes will be under €20! I'm kind of nervous but it should be a fun day! If you're around Dublin tomorrow pop in! 

These are the nail sets that I will be selling. There's a few more just couldn't find them on this. They will be from €10-€15. I will be selling fimo canes too! 

I have photos from two photo shoots to put up & pictures from tomorrow. Sorry for my short absence! Wish me luck for tomorrow!!
