Acid

This is my look for Acid brights. I used a bright pink lipstick from Barry M I think its number 52 vibrant pink. It doesn't look that bright in the pictures but it is highlighter bright pink. I wanted to try a double liner so I first lined my eyes with my Catrice gel liner and then the next line with my turquoise gel liner from Inglot. They mixed a bit so the turquoise is a bit darker than it normal is. 

I decided to do some nails to do with the look too. Barry M black polishes, which isn't great you need a few coats before its opaque and Angelica glitter polish in emerald which I love!

It was my birthday on Wednesday so here are some photos from the weekend. It was lovely. I didn't have a party just had a night out with my friend who is leaving for the summer :'( Oh I also just got instagram I don't feel like such a loser anymore! My user name is chantellemthomas!

Just thought I would show you what I did before I go to sleep (WRECKED!) The makeup went really well I'm happy with it and that's weird because I'm never usually happy with my work. Just had a really stressful day with lecturers and times being mixed up! I :( The costume wasn't completely finished so the costume designer wants to shoot again next week which I'm happy enough to do because I want to get proper photographs(we were shooting film) and I want to improve on what I did today so I can put the picture in my portfolio.

What I've bought recently

I had some extra money last week so I decided it was about time I bought the Inglot palette I've been meaning to buy for AGES. I decided to get a colourful palette instead of something neutral. This palette would be more for my kit because I never really wear bright coloured shadow but this is perfect for photoshoots! This palette was €55 which isn't bad for the size of the shadows and I've heard that they are amazing. I tried to get a student discount because I'm a makeup student but they hadn't got any forms so I had to pay full price :(

Then I went to MAC because I wanted to pick up the brush cleaner. It was €12 which wasn't bad. I want to pick up some lipsticks from there soon but I am so indecisive. Any suggestions?

Last week I needed to get some new polishes so I decided to try Models Own. I found a discount code and there was a special on (5 for £18) which was good. I thought the shipping was a bit ridiculous it was nearly £10 to ship Ireland. I'll probably just buy them when I'm in England next time! 

Then I bought a bodycon skirt in H&M in black which was €5 and a dark blue velvet t-shirt from a shop in Dun Laoghaire. I don't have any pictures of them because they are in the wash :/
