Yesterday was really exciting. My class went to the Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar in Dublin city centre to work at a Chinese opera workshop which was running during the Chinese New Year festival. I was so nervous yesterday morning because this was my first real makeup job (bar face painting of course...). In the end it was grand! We worked in groups of two doing the makeup of the princess and had to take time lapse photos of the transformation on photobooth(which was also our mirror!). There was a photographer from the Irish Times there for most of the day too! In the evening we have to do makeup for the opera Turandot. I did ping and half of pang. It was so surreal seeing work that you've done on stage in front of about 200 people. Oh we were given bottles of wine too and free cocktails.
Going to relax for the next two days and plan what I want to do for some more photo shoots next week. If you guys have any editorials or makeup looks you like please leave a link.
